Canon FL: Introduced during mid 60s through FX replaced their earlier R mount. Was in use
till early 70s but could be used on FD-mount Canon bodies. Some FL mount cameras include,
FX, FP, Pellix, FT-QL, Pellix QL and TL (all released during mid 60s to late 60s).

Canon FD: Introduced during early 70s through F-1 and was being used till late 80s (till T60).
Some bodies with FD mount include, F-1, FTb, FTbn, EF, TLb, TX, F-1n, AE-1, AT-1, A-1, AV-1,
New F-1, AE-1 Program, AL-1, T50, T70, T80, T90 and T60.

Canon EF: Used by EOS range. EF refers to Electronic Focus. Focussing is through a motor
housed in the lens. Communication between lens and the body is through electrical signals.
EOS means Electro OPtical System. The first body was 650. Some film bodies with this mount
include, 650, 620, 750, 850, 630, EOS-1, RT, 10S, 700, REBEL-S, Elan, Rebel II, A2, Rebal XS
Rebel X, 1N, 5000, 1N RS, Elan II, Rebel G, IX, IX-Lite, 3, 3000, Rebel 2000, 1V, Elan 7,
Kiss III L, Rebel XS N, Rebel Ti, Rebel GII, Rebel K2, Elan 7N, Rebel T2.

Canon's DSLRs with EOS tag started during 2000 from D30. Some more bodies include,
D60, 1D, 1Ds, 10D, 1 D mkII, 300D, 20D, 350D, 1Ds mk II, 5D, 30D, 400D, 1 D mk III,
40D, 1 Ds mk III, 450D

Canon EF-S: This is compatible with EF with the definition "short back focus". In this mount,
the sensor is very nearer to the first element of the lens at mount side.
