Iskcon Temple - Part I

Postby Prasenjitdas on Mon Mar 15, 2010 12:54 am

Dear Forum,

I visited the Iskcon temple here at Siliguri (A smaller version of the temple at Mayapur).

Here are some snaps of statuettes and other carvings of the temple. Waiting for C&C please.

Prasenjitdas, nicely done photos. Normally photography is not allowed in ISKON temples. You are fortunate to get these. All are contrasty, well saturated and tack sharp. I am just guessing, are you using JPEG conversion in PS using Bicubic sharpening selection?

No dada I am not using the Bi-Cubic option. These are all (and the ones to follow) from Raw --> tiff --> Jpeg...
Here the brightness/contrast/curves are altered in PS. Nothing else has been changed.

Photography is restricted in Iskcon only in some restricted part of the temple. For the rest we have to purchase a CAMERA PASS and thus continue... :D

Regards.

Prasenjitdas, I think you have got a good hold on the processing. Keep your own way :P
